Joan Daniels

After graduating from Cypress College in 1971, I returned in 1976 to teach English, first on a part-time basis and then on a full-time basis. During the part-time years, I completed a law degree and was admitted to the California Bar in 1982.

Recently I have been teaching primarily evening classes because I find I learn as much from my adult working students as they learn from me. Even more importantly, as one of my colleagues remarked, "I teach evening students for a reason: life has beat some sense into them; I don't have to."
