Course Description: This is a beginning Chinese course
intended for students without any previous exposure to the language. It
begins to develop language competencies in pronunciation, listening, speaking,
reading, and writing so as to enable students to function on a basic level
in culturally appropriate ways. Students will increase their knowledge
of the culture and history of China.
