ESL 082C - Intermediate ESL 15 hours lecture and one hour laboratory (TBA) per week Description: ESL 082 is an intermediate integrated ESL skills course designed to improve the reading, composition, grammar, listening comprehension, and speaking skills of non-native speakers with a moderate command of English. During the semester, students will write 4 single-paragraph, take-home writings and 4 in-class timed writing exams. There are reading tests based on the required course textbook in addition to various grammar quizzes and other class assignments. Prerequisites: Use of a language other than English as the primary language. Successful completion of ESL 081 or appropriate skills demonstrated through the assessment process.
